TV Guide Emmy After Party

Debra Birnbaum, editor-in-chief, TV Guide magazine, and J. Scott Crystal, president, TV Guide magazine, announced that TV Guide will host its sixth annual after- party celebrating the 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. This year's event, taking place on September 21, 2008, will honor the Emmy winners and nominees in style at the newly-opened and ultra-modern nightlife destination, "The Kress".

"We are thrilled to be back again saluting the biggest stars in the industry," says Ms. Birnbaum. "TV Guide's Emmy celebration has become one of the night's most significant happenings in Hollywood, and we pride ourselves on discovering the town's hottest new venues, from The Roosevelt Hotel to Social Hollywood to Les Deux. The Kress, one of the freshest and most innovative spaces in town, will set the tone for this year's after party as we honor the most celebrated names in television."

Preparing to open its doors this summer in the midst of the bright lights of Hollywood Boulevard, The Kress is poised to become one of the city's premier celebrity nightlife destinations. Occupying prime space that was previously the historic Frederick's of Hollywood building, the newly restored Kress is a modern multi-level entertainment and culinary paradise; venues include a basement nightclub reminiscent of Las Vegas, a tantalizing ground-floor restaurant, a third floor VIP lounge and a rooftop deck featuring 360-degree views of the city, fire pits, and raised cabanas. Offering the power elite a taste of the glitz and glamour of old Hollywood, The Kress is sure to be the number one stop on this year's Emmy party circuit.
