The American Music Awards will be broadcast live on ABC from the new NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE on Sunday, November 23, 2008 at 8:00 pm EST.

The 2008 American Music Awards, which will be celebrating its 36th anniversary this year, was the first awards show or broadcast event to take place in the 7,100 seat state-of-the-art theatre.The American Music Awards were previously held at the Shrine Auditorium.
